A very nice field guide, but better suited as a car or home guide as it is a bit bulky (not a bad thing most of the time). Very thick and full of color photos of species, sexes and ages when varying. This and the newest Sibley’s are usually my two go-to guides. After some use my front cover had detached, but I’m a believer that a good field guide will have some duct tape somewhere! Very pleased with this purchase and a lot of the products/information that the Stokes’ put out.
